This might bring a tear to the eye of those "of a certain age." Or interest people like me with a catholic taste in music, who particularly appreciate the "big band era."
An age when the "personal presentation," of professional musicians was as important as their technical ability. But I appreciate that nothing ever stays the same.
I've just re-watched the film "Memphis Belle," which I recorded from the TV.
In it you hear just a snatch of this Mack Gordon and Harry Warren song on the B17's radio as the crew go on a bombing run in 1943.
It comes from the 1941 film "Sunrise Serenade," featuring the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
